Chamberlin began the season as one of the Tigers' starting outfielders, but moved to second base at the start of the Big West Conference season due to the injury to Adam Ching. Providing consistent offense from the middle of the lineup, Chamberlin put together a team-high 23 game hitting streak from Apr. 1 through May 20. Zach finished the 2007 season with a .278 batting average, and a .441 slugging percentage. Chamerblin finished second on the team with 41 RBI, third in hits with 63 and third in runs scored at 34. Zach led the Tigers with 10 multi-RBI games, including four games with three RBI. Chamberlin's most dramatic effort of the season came in a game that took over two months to finish. Pacific's Mar. 4 home contest against San Francisco was suspended in the top of the 13th inning with the game tied 4-4. Scheduling difficulties forced the Tigers and Dons to wait until May 8 to resume the game, this time in San Francisco. After Pacific retired the Dons in the top of the 13th, Chamberlin blasted a one-out walk-off home run on the first pitch he saw.<p><b>Junior College:</b><p>Chamberlin attended College of Marin in 2005 and 2006. Zach helped the Mariners to a 31-13 record and a first place finish in the Bay Valley Conference in his only season of action finishing with a .360 batting average, five HR, 45 RBI and a school record eight triples. Following the season, Chamberlin was an All-Bay Valley First Team selection and also earned All-State First Team honors.<p><b>High School:</b><p>Zach graduated from San Rafael High School in San Rafael, Calif. In his final season with the Bulldogs, Chamberlin posted a .457 average, including five round-trippers and 30 RBI. A four-year letterwinner in baseball, Zach also nabbed two varsity letters in basketball.<p><b>Personal:</b><p>Zachary Chamberlin is the son of Keith and Lindsay Chamberlin. Zach has two sisters, Sara (22) and Emma (18). In his second year at Pacific, Zach is a sport sciences major.<p>
